I had a collectable piece of artwork that I wanted to have professionally framed rather than purchasing a stock frame at a local craft store. It was especially important to have it framed using UV glass to preserve the image from sunlight. By luck I came across The Rabbet Hole as I searched for framing shops in the area. From the moment I stepped into his shop, Jeff provided friendly, professional service. He actively sought my input and provided his expertise when it came to frame options, mat options, and color schemes. I was particularly impressed with how Jeff handled my piece, wearing gloves and taking every precaution to ensure that it remained safe and secure as we considered different frame options and mat colors. I couldn't be happier with the final product. It was completed on time and at a very fair price. I highly recommend The Rabbet Hole to anyone who has something they want professionally framed. Customer service at its best!

We had such a wonderful first experience with Jeff at The Rabbet Hole! We had a large print (28 x 40) that we wanted framed and stopped into the shop to talk it over with him. Jeff is totally meticulous, handling our piece with gloves and making sure that it was treated and stored with the utmost care. His pricing was totally transparent (as seems to be rarely the case with custom framing jobs), and he walked us through an itemized estimate of the cost of each aspect of the project (as well as why he considered it appropriate) before starting work. He even came to our house and hung the picture for us, working with tape and a level to ensure that it occupied its final home according to his professional standards. We're so happy with the final result! Thanks Jeff for a beautiful job! We'll be back!

Repeat customer here! I had another piece of artwork that I wanted to match the previous framing work done by Jeff. As with my first experience, Jeff spent a great deal of time with me in order to create a piece that precisely matched the details that made the first piece turn out so well. He sought my input on mat options and paid attention to every detail so that the two pieces complemented each other perfectly. Jeff went the extra mile by coming to our house to assist with hanging the two pieces so that they were positioned precisely relative to the ceiling and floor. I can’t imagine another framing store volunteering to provide this level of individualized service. Jeff is such a pleasure to work with. He is passionate about his work, which shows in the final product. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks Jeff!

I am so pleased with the framing of my mother's 100 year old baptismal certificate. Jeff took extreme care with the delicate document, wearing gloves while handling and stabilizing creases. He spent a good amount of time with me choosing matting and frame, never rushing any decisions and offering suggestions on style and preservation glass, all the while explaining how he would proceed. The mounting eliminated many of the creases and folds in the document to give the finished product a very professional look. Thank you Jeff and Rabbet Hole. It's so nice to have such a quality and customer friendly business locally.

This is the right choice for any of your customs framing needs, hands down. I ordered custom frames for three different medical documents and degrees, as well as a large map, as a gift to celebrate the achievement of those accolades. Working with Jeff was a pleasure at every step of the process. He is professional, loves and knows the craft, and was dedicated and passionate about collaborating on every detail to make this commemorative gift as special as it deserved to be. We ended up on the perfect combination of colors and styles that made the documents themselves really shine, and they were incredibly well received.
